Ed Hardy Style Soldered Initial Charm

Ed Hardy style initial charms. The front will have the initial of your choice A-Z and the back is the tattoo look picture repeated without the initial. The colors are very light and neutral would go with just about anything! The glass is beveled I tried to capture the beveled glass in the top picture. Check out the site for more designs and prices!

Look Who's Walking!

Oh have to share I have three kids and out of three I was able to capture one of their first steps! I am so excited to share Mekiella's first steps!!! This is HUGE to capture your 3rd's first steps since usually it's the first that gets all the pictures and videos! Please excuse all of our annoying chatter in the back - we are just proud parents!!

Finished Soldered Charm

It's finished! I finished the charm yesterday evening and posted the finished product on Facebook for the happy mommy to see! It turned out great IMO! The shiny silver soldered shines almost as pretty as sterling silver, pictures just don't do these little guys justice! Next up three charms from two different customers I think for this next blog I am going to do a step by step process from start to finish on the charms I would love feedback or advice from someone on anything that they do different. I love advice and need lots of it!

Soldered Photo Charm In Progress

It's been work work work since the wonderful weekend ended! Tonight was the first night I got to work on some jewelry! The piece above is a 1 x 1 1/2 inch soldered charm with clumps of silver solder on each corner. The corners are sooo difficult (in my opinion) but worth it in the end, it gives the charm a unique look that sets it apart from other soldered charms!

Friends ~ Family ~ Good Times!

What a great weekend! Good times, good friends, and best of all being with the family! After our exciting episode of chasing the horse all over the pastor we ended up at Luke's house for the afternoon and hand out with the family until the dark of evening settled in and the fireworks could begin!
Meme loves the water! She outlasted us all in the pool but she always manages to con someone into staying in with her or taking her back in for a bit! Roman AKA Bubba discovered that this year he wasn't afraid of the fireworks and in fact he could light them himself (with supervision of course!)

Today we went out on the lake with Romans family we squeezed everyone onto the little boat - could of been a little overloaded but it was fun! Again Meme stayed in till her lips were blue and we had to drag her out screaming to dry and warm her up!
When we got home and got showered and ready for a relaxing lazy evening wouldn't you know it a knock at the door and one of our colts somehow managed to squeeze under or through a back fence and was running a muck in the neighbors back pastor.
Dressed again off we went jumping into the six wheeler and off to the back pastor to round up the little guy only to discover we would have to snip the fence to get him back in UG just what we wanted to do mend a fence after a hard day at the lake! Living on the farm never has a dull moment! Jewelry you say? Haha maybe tomorrow. . .

Happy 4th of July!

Today it was a yummy home cooked breakfast and I thought a peaceful morning until the neighbors horse ended up in our pastor and for the last hour and half we have all been running crazy after a stubborn horse that somehow knows it's making us all look like idiots! I stopped long enough to snap a picture of the peacock watching the show that we were putting on. Now I've laid the baby down for a nap while we get ready to go eat lunch with Grandmother then hopefully we can get home early enough to work on some jewelry before FIREWORKS tonight!Hopefully the day will be a little more calm and slow paced!

Getting Started

Hi! I've been making jewelry, to be specific custom photo soldered charms here and there for friends and family and just recently created a website. I've been reading blogs and finally tonight just did it created my own! So now I'm left wondering what to type, what to talk about, what to do. . . I finished up three charms tonight (camera no batteries. . . ) and tomorrow will finish up some more and yes change out the batteries.
